1.    Solid carbide bit features:

(1)    Ordinary angle, twin-blade design;

(2)    Cost-effective:

Can be regrinding repeatedly, and easy to sharpen by hand;

(3)    Good sharpness;

(4)    Adopt high-performance alloy materials.

2.    Solid carbide bit suitable application:

(1)    Intaglio lettering, line engraving on bluestone, marble, etc;

(2)    Machining soft metal materials like aluminum, stainless steel;

3.    Suggestions on real sample:

(1)    Bluestone: easily engrave hundreds of 3cm small characters.

(2)    Granite:

①    The feeding depth each time should be less than 0.6mm, or is easily burnt;

②    Can carve over 100 small letters at different levels;

③    Resharpening needed.

If you don’t want to change for repeat regrinding, you could choose ASTECH other diamond tools (such as PCD router bits, which are a little more expensive).

(3)    There is another big degree on the tool tip, so solid carbide bit with ordinary angle is not suitable for relief.

4.    Different specifications:

You can select different degrees according to your work demand, such as font size, carving depth, and so on.
