What Impact will Bring if Increase Spindle Speed?
1) If increase the spindle speed, it will result in producing more cutting heat. Cutting heat has a very big influence on cnc tools life. So you know that, why every materials have reasonable linear cut speed? It just limits the production of cutting heat.
2) Increasing spindle rotating speed can lower milling depth of every tooth and turn.
Milling depth (every tooth and turn) = Feeding speed / (Spindle rotation speed * teeth number). Decrease milling depth of every teeth and turn, it can reduce cutting forces, make processing smooth and steady.
3) Increase spindle rotation speed can improve the output power of spindle motor. From the motor power curve graph we could see that, the faster revolving speed RPM is, the bigger output power is, so the more stable machining work will be.
4) In general, setting spindle speed higher has some advantages, but remember one thing, it must be set within a reasonable rotate speed range, because increasing spindle speed is the biggest affecting factor of flute tools durability.
