CNC Router Operation Procedure
CNC Router Operation Procedure
(Ⅲ)
1. CNC router operation procedure for rated load capacity;
CNC router engraver is one of light-duty processing equipments, so the total weight (including processing materials, router collets and chips), should not exceed rated load capacity of machine tool.
2. CNC router operation procedure before processing:
(1) Please check carefully the router bits you will use:
① If the size & function could meet the programming and machining demand.
② If the tool path is correct.
③ Re-confirm:
The working original (starting point of X axis, Y axis and Z axis) is right.
(2) To the water chiller for cnc router spindle, please check the coolant storage of the water chiller before running;
① Open water chiller to ensure normal coolant cycle.
② Open the positive sealing, to avoid some cases, such as processed chips and coolant into the spindle bearing.
3. Cnc router operation procedure on installing processing materials and CNC router tools:
(1) Install processing materials:
① Ensure installed firmly and right.
Not be skew.
② Don't engrave impending places of the materials.
(2) To CNC Tools:
① First, clean dust inside the router collet (or router clamp).
② Put router collet into screw nut straightly, then put them into the cnc router spindle together.
③ Insert cnc cutter into the collet.
④ At last, lock the screw nut tightly.
(3) Warm notice:
① While adjusting the nut, please with rotate mode but not push-and-pull.
② The length of router bit sticking out of router clamp:
a) It depends on actual working depth, materials and clamps.
b) In case of meeting the given condition, should keep the exposed length as short as possible.
c) The length of tool holder into the router collet should more than 18mm.
d) Don't use router tool again if the tool overall length is less than 22mm.
4. Cnc router operation procedures while running:
(1) If use cutting fluid, it must flush into the router cutter.
(2) Don't watch closely to keep cutting chips out of your eyes.
(3) Don't watch until machine and spindle stop working, and make sure the spindle stop rotating.
(4) Don't clean the materials surface by staple.
(5) Don't put any objects on the worktable or beam.
(6) Don't put your hands over cnc router bed, such as beam and Y axis shield.
(7) Don't knock and strike spindle.
