Today, let's continue our topic on how to maintain spindle!
Clean work is the main routine maintenance for cnc spindle, which plays very important part in extending spindle life.
1. To maintain spindle, should develop good habit first:
Do cleaning as soon as you finish the work;
2. Every power-on:
(1) To maintain spindle, operator must check working state first:
① Check if cooling water flows in the spindle motor;
If no cooling water flowing through router spindle, strictly forbidden to operate it;
② If water pump works properly;
③ Whether the cooling water is polluted by scale deposit and microorganisms;
④ Check if the line condition is good;
(2) Must keep good cooling water circulation:
a) Avoid water currents are sluggish caused by depth bends;
b) Avoid water pipe blockage caused by dirt;
c) Need to clean scupper by cleek frequently;
3. To maintain spindle, please vacuum sweeps in the spindle roter end and motor terminal blocks after each use;
(1) Prevent sweeps accumulating at roter end and terminal blocks, or else the sweeps will enter into the bearing, and accelerate wear of high speed bearing;
(2) Prevent sweeps entering into terminal blocks, to avoid motor short circuit or burning;
4. When install engraving bits:
(1) Clean up cnc bits, spindle chuck and clamp nut first;
(2) Once be done in place, it can greatly prolong the service life of machine spindle;
5. When replace router bits:
(1) In each case, operators must unscrewing clamp nut first;
(2) Don't plug and unplug cnc tools directly when replace router cutter;
(3) After removing cnc router bits, remember to clean up spindle chuck and nut;
6. Use the cnc router spindle as demanded is the best way to maintain spindles;
