How to Clean Rust of Spindle

How do you clean rust of spindle?

We advise the solution as below:

1. First way to clean rust of spindle –

Specialized rust remover or WD-40 detergent lubricant;

(1) Process to clean rust of spindle:

Spray evenly on cnc router spindle, then wipe off rust by cotton after about half an hour;

(2) If router spindle is badly rusted, we can clean a few times;

(3) To WD-40, it is nonconductive, and with good lubrication effect;

2. Second method to clean rust of spindle –

Hand scraping:

(1) It mainly reply on the tools such as:

Scraper knife, drawknife, pointed hammer, wire brush, emery cloth, broken saw, etc.

(2) Process to clean rust of spindle:

By manually knock, shovel, scrape, brush, sand, or tumble flexibly to remove surface rust and oxide scales, etc.

(3) It is painters' traditional rust removal method, and also the easiest way to clean rust of spindle;

If cnc spindle is so badly rusted, unable to use, we have to replace new spindle, even new cnc tools.
