How to Install Ground Wire
We cannot ignore the influence of earthing cable on cnc router machine.
It can prevent machine leakage from shock hazard, also effectively avoiding electrostatic interference, and guarantee working normally (machine, cnc spindle, cnc tools, etc).
So how to install ground wire? What ground wire installation is qualified?
We can do from the following steps:
1. First step to install ground wire -
Preparation:
(1) Prepare 3 angle irons with the length of 2.5m;
(2) Dig 3 deep holes on the ground, with the depth of 30cm and 3m intervals;
(3) Then, pile the angle iron into the ground;
2. Second procedure to install ground wire -
Connection:
Using 3*30 hot-galvanizing flat steel, connect them by welding method;
The demand of welding is overlapping;
3. Third operation step to install ground wire -
Measure ground resistance with measuring instrument:
If resistance is zero or below 4 Ohms, it states that, the grounding device is eligible. We can rest assured that lead out ground wire from above;
4. Fourth process to install ground wire -
Tightening:
(1) At the top of band iron, drill a hole with diameter 8mm;
(2) File the hole smooth and cleanly;
(3) Then, tighten wire and flat band iron;
5. Fifth work to install ground wire -
Lead-in:
At last, lead the wire into user's wire way, adding a safety ground wire in the power system;
