How to Select CNC Relay

 

CNC relay is an electrical control device, which has control system (input loop) and controlled system (output loop). Usually, cnc relay applies in automatic control circuit.

In reality, cnc relay is an "automatic switch" to control larger current by smaller current. So in circuit, cnc relay plays a role in automatic control, safeguards, switch circuit, and so on.

 

How to select CNC relay?

 

1.    First, confirm which way is the input.

Such as 3-way input, 4-way input, etc.

 

2.    Then, confirm which one is the output.

(Some input also contains: normally open - NO; normally closed - NC).

 

3.    Cnc relay output power.

The product of maximum output current and voltage, including AC and DC output.

 

4.    Power supply voltage:

General condition, DC: 24V; AC: 230V.

 

5.    Principle parameters for different cnc relay model:

(1)  First, ask customers what kinds of materials they want to test, metal or no-metal, etc.

Then, we can confirm the cnc relay series.

 

(2)  What materials as cover of cnc relay:

According to different application environment, it can divides into metal cover or non-metal cover, etc.

 

(3)  The installation and overall dimension for switch:

Usually to cylinder type, we should know thread specification and dimensions of external diameter.

For example, M18 means M18 X 1;

M12 means M12 X 1, etc.

 

(4)  Approach distance:

The distance between install cnc relay and inspected object.

It has 2mm, 10mm, 20mm, etc.

 

(5)  Output control forms:

Usually NPN or PNP output status as a collector. The majority is NPN.
