How to Make 3D CNC Letters
3D cnc letters are the most common performance in stone cnc machine. Not only look very beautiful but also with fast speed. For example, if engrave marble by about 3cm words, it can make three 3d cnc letters one minute.
Can make such cnc text by any router bits? The answer is no!
There are four types in the tool library: flat-bottom solid carbide tools, straight cutter, ball cutter, center sharp cutter. When we make 3d cnc letters, we must pay attention to the choice of route bit types – center sharp cutter, which is specialized for generating 3d cnc letters. Below it, we can add or modify geometric parameters of flute end mill.
Not 3d diamond tools with any angles can do 3D cnc letters. To the same 3D CNC letter, if select cutters with different angles or different engraving depths, will have different effect of 3d cnc letters.
So how to create 3d word effect?
