How to remove router bit?
Listed below are the detailed steps.
1. When remove router bit, twist clamping nut by wrench in opposite direction.
(1) Pick up small wrench with your right hand. The grip is the same as cnc clamping.
Then aim at the top of rotor.
(2) Revolve rotor with left hand, and gently slide small wrench. Then, take up a larger one and aim at nut.
(3) The angle is preferably small between two wrenches. It is better in overlap state. Thus, the strength to remove router bit won't transfer to spindle.
(4) Open your palms, palming up and keeping flat. Hold wrench by two hands, and rotate to right around the center.
(5) Warm notice: the strength should be equal.
2. Remove router bit.
(1) The router bits are not loose after pressing cap is unfastened.
(2) Pull out chuck from taper hole with even force, thus downcut pcb end mills lose its grasp. Remove router bit now.
(3) Screw off cap and collet together. Rotate and push collet hard, emerging collet from cap.
(4) Every time when remove router bit, it must screw nut and chuck first.
For changing router bits, forbidden to use plug-pull method directly.
3. Clean up after removing router bit.
Clean nut and sweeps in rotor end.
These sweeps can affect not only the precision to install router bits, but also produce wear act as grinding paste. Finally, thread is worn down, and no longer be able to use.
