4 Ways of End Milling Operation
In 2D & 3D tool path calculation, end milling operation is a common processing method.
End milling operation is to mill the spare parts of object or text, so can mill out a groove or slot, making the surface smooth.
There are 4 ways of end milling operation:
1. Direction-parallel;
It is divided into horizontal end milling and vertical end milling operation.
2. Contour-parallel;
3. 45 Angle in the forward direction;
4. 45 Angle in reverse direction.
No matter which ways of end milling operation, the machining result is the same. Just the routes of cnc tools are different.
