9 Cautions in CNC Machine Bits

9 Cautions in CNC Machine Bits

()

Today, we continue 9 cautions in CNC machine bits.

5. Attentions of cnc machine bits in CNC router:

(1)    Machine should have good performance and in good work condition.

(2)    Before processing, ensure no one is ahead of cnc machine.

Then idle it. Check whether there are some abnormal phenomena, such as tool beat in both radial and axial directions, spindle deformation and vibration, etc.

(3)    Protected by safety guard.

6. CNC machine bits speed:

The cutting speed is highly related to mill bits life.

Take stone materials for example, the harder stone, the lower speed should be.

7. Should select appropriate cutting output for granite carving tools:

(1)    To wood:

To general wood, can choose adjustable cutting.

To carbide end mill cutters with large diameter and harder wood, we can select low speed and feeding.

(2)    Speed should be even, uniform and balanced, not between fast and slow.

(3)    Don't stop in cutting, or else, straight cutting bit will be damaged and reduce its life.

8. If cut depth is greater than the blade cutting thickness, the parts except blade will produce high temperature while contacting with work piece. The rigid body of cnc machine bits will be out of shape, causing bend and break, even unexpected results.

9. The precautions of ogee bit maintenance:

(1)    Don't continue to use if blunt. Otherwise, will increase torsion and exceeds cutter body capacity, resulting in tool breakup and accident.

(2)    After a period of time, if find unusual sound and shake, the surface is unsmooth and process material is black, we must stop the using of cnc machine bits.
