How to Install CNC Router Collet
CNC router collet is widely used in engraving, boring, milling, etc.
So how to install router collets?
1. Put cnc collet into clamping nut.
(1) Spin snap spring gently.
(2) After eccentric part of nut sunk into circlip slot, push the clamp spring hard in the direction of the arrow.
Warm notice: the strength should be equal, especially to cnc router collet.
2. Install snap spring and pressing cap into collet chuck or CNC router spindle together.
(1) Clean cnc tools shank, then reload into the clamping hole.
(2) Fasten cap by wrench, until solid carbide end mills are held tightly.
3. When remove router bit, loosen pressure cap by spanner to take out cnc router collet and cnc machine cutting tools. Then, force spring to make it exist in the direction of arrow. At last, replace a new one as needed.
4. Useful tips:
(1) Don't fix nut before tool installation, avoiding damaging circlip.
(2) Put some grease on cutter shank, spring head and cnc router collet, which is easy to install or remove.
