3 Glass Engraving Techniques
To protect diamond tools and work piece, there are 3 glass engraving techniques for cnc glass machine.
1. Gradual approach:
(1) While machining, the cnc engraving bit reach a certain engraving depth during falling, rather than down to the designed one directly.
Then, lift up the stone carving tools, and carve gradually again and again, until up to the set deepness.
(2) This can avoid damaging glass or cutter transmutation even tool breakage because of too large force in harder materials.
2. Oblique / bevel method:
When cnc stone carving, the china diamond tools doesn't drop vertically, but bevel with some angles. Such glass engraving techniques not only avert glass broken, but also reduce cutter mark left on finished surface.
3. Plunge-cut process:
(1) CNC router cutting bit start from path origin on one side, to processing thickness;
Then according to the setting of circle arc radius or line length, enter into path starting point and go sculpturing.
(2) The glass engraving techniques guarantee that won't leave tracks on carved face.
