3 Types of CNC Router Machine Bit
According to cutting movement way and corresponding edge shapes, CNC router machine bit has 3 classifications as below.
1. General cnc tools in all purpose:
Such as lathe bit, plane cutter, carbide milling cutter (not including formed kind), Boring tool, drills, expanding auger, reamer, saw, etc.
2. Forming metal router bit:
To such cnc router machine bit, the cutting blade has similar or the same shape to work piece section.
For example, formed turning tool, broach, conical reamer, all kinds of screw thread process knife, and so on.
3. Generating NC cutting tool:
It is for machining gear tooth face or similar workpiece by generating method.
Includes: hob, pinion cutter, gear shaver, bevel gear, etc.
