What are the types of cnc tools from machinability?

1. Lathe tools:

Includes top circle, inner bore, external thread, internal thread, grooving, cut off, forming, etc.

2. Drilling tools:

(1) Such types of cnc tools have drills, common twist drill, reamer, screw tap, expanding auger, and so on.

(2) Application:

① Processing work:

Little holes, short holes, deep holes, tapping, reaming, etc.

② Suitable for numerical control machinery, turning center, NC boring miller and CNC center.

(3) Various structures and connecting formats:

There are straight shank, taper shank, thread linking, module type connection, and many other kinds.

3. Boring cutters:

Divided into single-edge, multiple-edge, and multi-bladed combination.

(2) From formation:

Can be divided into integral holder, modular holder, and boring head.

(3) Machining requirements:

For rough and fine processing.

4. End mill:

Including:

① The most used router bits.

Both cylindrical surface and end face have cutting edge. They could cut at the same time or independently.

Integral and clip type.

③ Commonly used materials:

High-speed steel or hard alloy.
