CNC Router Maintenance

Necessry Daily Maintenance for Longer Service Life & Higher Precision

As we know, CNC Router Maintenance is usually proportional to the service life & precision of CNC machine.

Only maintain cnc router well, it would be more profitable!

Let's see the following steps on cnc machine maintenance:

1. If the continuous operating time is more than 10 hours every day,

(1) Please DO CNC router maintenance:

① Keep the cooling water clean.

② Timely change the cooling water.

③ Keep water pump work regularly.

④ If the working temperature is too low, please change the water tank into antifreeze.

(2) Must NOT:

CNC router spindle motor is a shortage of water.

2. CNC router maintenance should also keep clean up & lubricate after each use:

(1) Clean up the dust on working table & transmission system (X, Y, Z Axis).

(2) Lubricate transmission way regularly;

Warm note:

① To X Axis & Y Axis, maintain the square rail or round rail by anti-wear engine oil;

② To Z Axis, maintain the ball screw by high-speed butter.

③ If the working temperature is too low in winter, please clean up the guide rails (square rail or round rail) by gasoline first, then lubricate by engine oil, or else CNC router will misplace, which caused by high resistance of the transmission system.

(3) Clean and change router bits regularly;

As the saying goes: "Sharp tools make good work". Clearly, good cnc tools are very important to CNC router and work performance.

So, please remember to clean the CNC router bits after each use, which is for longer lifetime and higher precision.

3. CNC router maintenance to the electrical equipment:

Before maintenance check, make sure:

(1) Cut off the power.

(2) No display on monitor.

(3) The major loop power light had gone off.
