Finished Surface Problem

Unsmooth, Appear White Border, Jutter

If finished surface appear problem, such like unsmooth, appear white border or jutter, we can analyze from the following aspects:

1. Finished surface appears white edge:

(1) Cause:

① Tool blade wears out too fast, and not sharp;

② Improper or poor router bits materials;

(2) Solution:

① Re-adjust thickness of cutting edge;

② Replace new micro end mills;

2. If work piece is not fixed well, finished surface is easy to occur white border and trembling mark:

Please carefully check the fixing between work piece and router bit, renew the clamping if have any problems;

3. Finished surface appears white border from the beginning:

(1) It results from:

The rotational speed is not in line with travelling speed;

(2) We can solve this problem by adjusting the ratio of rotate speed and travelling speed, usually adjust to 10:1;

To CHINA CNC router, appropriate to reduce rotational speed in use;

4. The selection of straight cutting tool is not correct will results in rough machining surface, or appear white border and jutter:

We should select according to different materials and character;

5. Jutter situation:

(1) It's may caused by tilted processing axis, so the rotating track of router bit appears arc shape;

(2) We can examine verticality while rotating by DIAL GUAGE,

If the recline is too big, change or adjust router collets, make which vertical;
