How to Input 3D DXF Models?
Artcam become the more generic programming software, because not only powerful, but also can input 3D DXF models with common formats. Such as CAD, Pro/E, 3D MAX, all can import into software and do program operation.
Following is a brief introduction on inputting 3D relief model.
1. First, click new file icon in your toolbar, generate a new file;
2. Then, in the dialog window of new model dimension, import:
(1) Height: 100mm;
(2) Width: 100mm;
(3) Resolution ratio: 1002 * 1002 dots.
3. Click: "Accept";
4. From the menu option, select "File" - "Input" - "3D Model" option.
Choose "DXF model" document from directory. After opened, it will appear this document in three-dimensional view, and paste dialog on the screen at the same time.
