How to Replace Spindle Motor Bearing?

In general, spindle motor bearing and cnc router bits are wearing parts of stone router machine.

The breakage of engraving end mill is common and easy to see. However the spindle motor bearing is hidden in cnc spindle, how to judge it is broken?

Usually after damage, it will issue abnormal sound, which is easy to distinguish.

And how to change a new one?

1. There is a black upper cover at the spindle top;

Open these inner hexagon screws on cover by wrench.

2. In the center, there is a dome with pit. Nearby is a hole.

Twist out the allen screw in the hole.

3. Take off the dome.

4. There is a position can be twisted in the sleeves, where is under spindle.

We could unscrew it by two wrenches. One is above, the other one is below.

By now, we can remove underneath black lid, and take out rotor.

5. Buy a new one in your metal market nearby.

6. Change it in reverse steps.

Warm notice: tighten the lip to prevent water leakage. Or else, it may cause short circuit.
