Never Cut Onto CNC Worktable

Never Cut Onto CNC Worktable

Now materials are undersize, even the depth of the same material is unbalanced. Thus, we will cut onto CNC worktable if with traditional cutting method, leading to unsmooth carving or cnc tools pressure.

We are happy to share with 3 good ways to protect cnc worktable as below.

1.    First, while positioning z axis, don't let solid carbide bit touch material surface.

(1)  Move away material, put engraving bits in touch with cnc worktable directly.

Warm notice: don't touch cnc worktable too much.

(2)  In this place, reset router z axis, then increase corresponding height according to the cutting depth in software.

For example, if the cutting thickness in software is 10, here we precisely raise 10; then clear z axis. This is the origin of z axis.

(3)  As per the set depth, the lowest point which cnc router can reach is the place set to zero. It is just on the top of cnc worktable, guaranteeing engrave completely and never cut onto cnc worktable.

2.    Another method to cut without scratching cnc worktable is:

Set cutting thickness in software to 0. When save path, increase the distance value of lifting pcb milling cutters.

3.    Can also upper and lower limit by micro switch.

(1)  There are 2 cnc limit switch in each axis.

(2)  Or use thru-tank. But if without the device for blocking chippings, correlation may have trouble frequently because of the entry of chippings.
