Solve Stepper Motor and Driver Interference
Solve Stepper Motor and Driver Interference
To general stepper motor and driver, because they are not magnetic shielding by aluminum, titanium, Mg alloy casing, so will occur stepper motor and driver interference.
Such as interfere highly sensitive receiver, makes which could not work; pollute power source; make single chip of control system and upper computer unable to communicate, even crashed;
Therefore, we must solve stepper motor and driver interference!
1. First solution on stepper motor and driver interference:
Attach power filter, reducing the pollution to AC power;
2. Second way to solve stepper motor and driver interference –
"One-point earth-fault protection" principle:
Connect the following wires to the ground poles of case wall, and make sure in good connection:
(1) Ground wire of power filter;
(2) Driver (we should insulate driver from machine base board);
(3) The outgoing line after short circuited between PULSE(control pulse) and DIR(direction pulse);
(4) Motor grounding line;
(5) Protection cover between driver and motor;
(6) Driver shielding line;
3. Third method to resolve stepper motor and driver interference:
(1) Try to increase the distance of control line with power line (L, N) and motor driven line (U, V, W), avoid crossing;
(2) For example, when process double-axis driven system, we can put one driver nameplate ahead, the other one is backward, and make these lead as short as possible in structural arrangement;
4. Fourth way to solve interference of stepper motor and driver:
Use shielded wire to reduce the interference between power line and outside;
Besides above-mentioned methods, select suitable sintered bits, cnc router spindle, and so on, are also very important to keep system stable and reliable.
