1. How to use spindle motor reasonably?
During cutting machining, to ensure spindle motor has certain output power, then the rotation speed cannot be too slow. Especially before process red copper and such like soft materials, we could test rotate speed several times, to find the RPM with lowest sound in revolving. According to our experiments data, tools radial runout is smallest at this time.
2. What are the temperature requirements of high-speed spindle motor?
Because high speed motor has higher rotate speed, so it must be well cooled to lower temperature rising. Temperature rise is the temperature difference between driving motor and surrounding environment, generally it should be controlled about 10 degrees. And we request electrical motor temperature cannot be over 45 degrees.
3. What kind precision spindle motor can reach?
To usual electric motor, inner cone hole jump is below 0.004mm; when carving tools extend to 20mm place, the inner cone hole jump is below 0.03mm. Taper bore precision is fixed and changeless. If cutting tools radial vibration increases, we can find problem and solution from collet chuck, nut, router bits, and clamping method.
4. How to confirm spindle rotating speed?
In processing, to confirm spindle rotating speed is a very important part of work. Because it directly concerns milling tools life, work pieces machining effects, etc.
1) To confirm rotate speed, first starts from work materials. The higher hardness of materials is, the slower speed is. The more sticky materials are, the faster speed is when working.
2) It is also based on the diameter of router cutters. The bigger diameter is, the lower speed is.
3) It is also on the basis of the service condition of spindle motor. When speed lowered, the output power also reduced; if output power drop to a certain degree, it will affect working, but instead have worse influence on engraving bits life and workpieces forming results. So, when confirm speed, do take extra care to ensure that spindle motor has a certain and fixed output power.
4) In all, before confirm rotating speed, be sure to analyze according to your own specific conditions, such as materials, flute endmill shank, output power, etc. Do not use rigid suggested parameters.
5. What should be noticed when set up motor?
Try best to reduce motor extension length. The longer extension length is, the worse rigidity of cnc machining system is, thus the bigger influence on processing is. Of course, the precondition is: first guarantee the cnc cutter extension length is small, and then try to decrease motor stretching length. Or the rigidity of cnc cutting system will be even worse. Besides, do not clamp on bearings.
