What is Process Range of Numerical Control Milling Machine?

 

What is the machining area of numerical control milling machine?

 

1.    Surface processing:

(1)  Definition:

The machining face is parallel, perpendicular to level, or the angle contained by the two faces is a fixed angle.

(2)  Features:

Each finished surface is, or can be unfolded to plane.

(3)  How to realize:

Just apply numerical control milling machine controlled by two axles and a half.

(4)  At present, it is the simplest and most frequently used type.

 

2.    Becoming oblique angled:

(1)  Conception:

The degree between manufacturing face and horizontal plane is changing continuously.

(2)  To manufacture this kind, it is better to apply 4 or 5 coordinates in angular cnc milling process.

Or, adopt 3-axis cnc milling machine, which is by two and one-half axes controlled and line cutting method.

 

3.    Curved type:

(1)  It is for manufacturing space curve surface.

For complicated curve, need 3-axis or more axes linkage.

(2)  Characters:

     It is always point contact between milling bits and machined face.

     Cannot expand as level.

(3)  Commonly used through:

     Two and a half shaft with row cutting way.

     Three axis linkage.
