Why CNC Y axis deform?
Can we resolve it?
1. First reason results in deformation -
CNC Y-axis lose step.
Losing step is not easy to solve just by adjusting, referring to cnc router stepper motor, driver, coupling, linear rail slide, ball screw nut, support bearing, etc.
We need to exclude every cause one by one.
Usually, bearing damage is most likely.
2. Second aspect, causing cnc Y axis is out of shape -
Motor parameter setting is not correct.
(1) Now, we usually use Nc Studio software. We can enter into it and adjust manufacturer parameters (password: English letters in top left corner) there.
(2) Common parameters are 0.0025, 0.003125, 0.005, 0.00625, etc.
(3) You can set 10mm location in manual mode, and move cnc y axis. Then, immediately measure cnc Y axis if really walks 10mm. After that we can adjust motor parameters based on CNC Y-axis.
3. Third analysis on cnc y axis deformation -
Failure of control circuit or mechanical drive.
