Why Large Character Engraving is Very Slow?
Few customers reflected that, it takes much longer time for large character engraving (in 14cm size), because cnc stone cutting machine needs to walk back and forth between some strokes. Usually it is easy to carve word in 7cm or 8cm. If so, what reason causes?
While doing 3D cutting path by WenTai software, if you select "Island Processing Method", it will produce some "Island" in the places where solid end mill cannot go. The control system will compute route according to your chosen machining way. Generally, the working time for character engraving will increase because of dense path.
In this situation, we can choose v groove router bits with big angle, or adjust with deeper carving depth. That, will have much smaller, even no "Island".
Or, directly select "Rough Cutter Milling". This way, you no longer have to worry about the low speed in character engraving.
