Brazed Flat Bottom Bit, CNC Stone Engraving Cutter for Foam Ceramic, Bluestone & Marble
This brazed flat‑bottom bit is specially designed for CNC stone engraving machines, dedicated for foam ceramic and blue brick processing.
Key Features
01. Imported Diamond Grit, Double‑layer Technology
The diamond abrasive grains are clearly visible on the tool surface. It delivers better wear resistance, longer service life and improved durability.
02. Dual‑Function Design for Higher Practicality
Combines high‑temperature smelting and double‑layer brazing process for stable performance.
Application Scope
A powerful carving cutter for multiple stone materials. Suitable for engraving bluestone, sandstone, marble and other stone materials.
Important Operating Notes
Sufficient cooling water must be supplied during operation to prevent excessive instantaneous temperature of the cutter head and extend tool service life.
Practical Experience for CNC Engraving Bits
- Ensure stable working voltage of 380V, voltage fluctuation shall not exceed ±10%.
- Spindle speed shall not be lower than 18000 RPM.
- Remove broken cutter fragments completely before installing a new bit. Residual broken pieces will easily cause secondary tool breakage.
- Machine‑caused tool breakage: Tool breakage may occur due to poor machine stability and vibration during carving. Possible causes include poor‑quality guide rails with large clearance, poor dynamic balance of spindle motor, and large tolerance of tool holders.
- Engraving patterns classification
- Lettering: Tool tip chipping is common for tombstone engraving. Adjust carving depth, keep material surface flat. Control speed and depth for 3D characters.
- Line engraving: Tool life is affected by uneven surface and excessive feed speed. Line engraving generates higher acceleration and inertia than relief carving. Reduce feed speed properly; higher speed is acceptable for soft stone.
- Relief carving: Do not over‑rely on tool compensation. Adjust carving accuracy and speed properly to achieve high efficiency and good tool protection. Avoid overly sharp pattern layers, which may lead to cutter breakage at deep carving positions on hard stone.
- Improper‑use‑caused tool damage: Fast plunge feed rate, sudden impact cutting and insufficient cooling water will result in tool breakage. The first cut for relief carving must run at slow feed rate. For stone processing, the plunge feed rate should be kept between 200‑350 according to different stone materials.
