Usage & Maintenance Guide
- Cutter Selection
- Use shorter cutting edge whenever possible. Excessively long cutting edge or cutter body causes vibration and deflection, leading to cutter damage and poor cutting quality. Choose cutters with larger shank diameter.
- Use proper collet. Worn, out-of-round or tapered collets cannot provide enough clamping force, which causes vibration or shank breakage.
- If cutter jumps during operation after clamping, stop the machine immediately. Re-clamp repeatedly to ensure full contact between shank and collet before restarting work.
- Cutter Maintenance
- Good contact between cutter shank and collet. Fully insert shank into collet and tighten firmly. Partial insertion may cause shank fracture and cutter damage.
- Wear eye & ear protective equipment during operation.
- Keep body, clothes and debris away from rotating cutter.
